Stopped in for dinner since we stopped the semi for the night here. The hostess wasn't overly friendly and although the sign said "please wait to be seated" she acted annoyed that I was there. As we were waiting for the hostess to come over I was checking out the dessert in the cabinet and saw a slice of apple pie covered with mold Our waitress was very friendly and super attentive! I ordered the lemon chicken & rice soup, poutine, & chicken wings. My husband ordered the dry ribs and onion rings. Being from the USA, we had no idea what dry ribs were, but we're intrigued by the picture. Also since being from the USA and enjoying poutine there, I was eager to try it on Canada. First off the lemon chicken rice soup was very sweet, I've never had it before, so I don't know what it's supposed to be like. It didn't have a lot of chicken in it and the rice had given the soup a very thick almost gelatinous texture. If you didn't tell me it was chicken, I would have thought it was a warm lemon pudding, it was that sweet. As for the wings, I got the lemon pepper wings and they were good, VERY juicy! The lemon pepper wasn't overly lemony. The poutine was soggy and wasn't as hot as I would like, but it was still good. Also to note that it was topped with shredded cheese, not cheese curds--which again I'm not sure if that's a USA thing or not. For the dry ribs---these were amazing!!! VERY lemony, but in the best way. They are mini ribs, not sure how they are made, but they were the perfect bite sized deliciousness. You also get a TON of them! My husband was begging me to help him finish them!

Jashan was wonderful and very attentive. It was my friends birthday, they gave her a slice of cheese cake.

Good food and is one of the spots we usually go to whe we visit my inlaws. Big tables which we need for all the posse.
